In the ore delivery bunker, I installed one Mr Hamish McPhwat, long lost brother of the legendary loco driver of the Craig and Mertonford Light Railway of the late Philip D Hancock, (C&MLR Info) a childhood railway modelling hero of mine who wrote in the Railway Modeller and first sowed the seeds of narrow gauge-itis in me many years ago. Hamish is busily engaged in clearing a blockage in the bucket hoist mechanism. I don't think he gets danger money..... Sadly it is unlikely that any visitor to my layout will ever see him down there but we know he's there don't we dear reader?
