A new scenic opportunity continued...

To start the process of aging and dilapidation:

Take one nicely built mine entrance
and remove one of the supports
Suggest a rotten knot hole causing structural weakness over time. Drill a hole in the middle and then distress the hole to remove neat roundness
Break support, push other support inside roof beam, glue support back and tilt roof.
Add crummy wall timbers

At this point I added and old 18" tram track with steel sleepers made from strip styrene. The track is a KL angle iron moulding. The track curves to the discharge point.

Test fit track
Paint track rusty colours.

Add timbers, ore and tailings, a mine cart and a box.  Drip with isoprpyl froma syringe then drip on dilute white glue or matte medium.
Test fit in situ. Bags of wiggle room here.

Next step is to make the discharge chute. TBC
